Project "life311" of NPO "more trees"

"more trees" is an NPO, as its name suggests, is an initiative to plant more trees for carbon offset, launched by a famous Japanese musician Ryuichi Sakamoto.  The project "life311" is to build wooden temporary housing for the earthquake and tsunami disaster victims using the manpower of the disaster victims, local construction makers, and woods from forest thinning in the east Japan.  The houses are designed to be reused for other temporary/ permanent housing once they are no longer in need.  We strongly agree with their ideas and actions and decided to send our donations to support their activities.  For more info on the "LIFE311" see at: http://life311.more-trees.org/en
